Bowen Therapy Treatment

A full body treatment designed to release the fascia (the connective tissue of your body) allowing muscles to relax which assists the body to restore better alignment . This creates more freedom of movement, and allows deep healing to occur.

This treatment is recommended for deep relaxation, healing injuries, alleviating acute and/or chronic pain, and for many ailments such as Frozen Shoulder, stiff neck, Lower Back Pain, Sciatica, Knee  pain, Hip pain/Bursitis, Headache, Migraine, Rib and Mid Back pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Ankle & Foot pain, Vertigo, Fibromyalgia, General Tension & Stress, Anxiety, and many more conditions.

Profound changes often happen immediately, and the ensuing results are very effective and long lasting.

Every treatment is personalised to address the unique causes of pain or discomfort, whether physical, environmental, or emotional. The session typically concludes with a Reiki energy balance aimed at aligning and harmonising the body’s energy centers (chakras). To deepen the healing experience, singing bowls and tingsha bells (Tibetan cymbals) are gently used at the end of the session to facilitate energy clearing and/or amplification of positive intentions.

Bowen/Kinesiology/Reiki Combo

Kinesiology uses muscle monitoring to identify emotional, structural, and energetic imbalances in the body. This treatment uses a mix of modalities in order to get the best result. It is designed to deal with unresolved physical and emotional issues that are affecting the body. It is a gentle, yet very effective way of getting to the cause of an issue or condition.

Reiki/Resonance Healing

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, balance, and the body’s natural ability to heal. A Reiki treatment channels energy to restore harmony in the mind, body, and spirit, supporting deep healing. It offers a profound sense of wellbeing, peace, and inner calm. The use of crystal singing bowls and tingshas (Tibetan cymbals) may be incorporated to assist with emotional and energetic clearing, helping to create a clear, grounded, and present state of mind.

Please note: A cancellation fee of $70 will apply if less than 24hrs notice is given for the cancellation of a treatment unless you are unable to attend because you are sick, or there are extenuating circumstances which prevent you from being able to attend (eg. sick child). 

Unfortunately rebates from health insurance companies are no longer available. This changed in April 2019 when the Australian Government changed the legislation regarding several complimentary therapies including Bowen Therapy. The Bowen Therapy Association is actively working to have health fund rebates reinstated for Bowen Therapy.
